During my visit to Golden Corral Buffet & Grill in Panama City Beach, Florida, I went for lunch with a family of four. Despite the bustling lunchtime crowd, we were impressed by the freshness of the food items available. It was evident that the kitchen takes pride in preparing dishes that are not only delicious but also made with care.
The service during this busy period was remarkably polite and accommodating. Despite the rush, the staff members were attentive and ensured that our needs were met promptly. The cleanliness of the counter areas was another highlight, as the staff diligently maintained a clean and hygienic environment throughout our meal.

There is a variety of food and the employees keep the buffet clean. Paid $50 for two people and all we were able to enjoy was salad, mashed potatoes, chicken, and rolls. Definitely could have got a better quality meal from outback for the same price. The premium drinks taste like bitter syrup and the fountain drinks taste dirty. I'm guessing the filter needs changing or drink machine isn't being cleaned properly as the water taste like it came from a hot water hose. In my opinion this restaurant uses low quality cuts of meat especially when it comes to steak. When Paying a premium price for a buffet with steak there is an expectation it will be half way decent. The steak here was full of fat and white stringy things (I'm going to say it was tendons however as photographed it looks strange and unappetizing). I couldn't bring myself to eat one bite after cutting it up. The seasoning level of the food is giving hospital cafeteria food. The collard greens were very stiff, watery, and lacking flavor. I wanted to try the nachos until I seen the taco bar where the chips were stale, meat looked watery and greasy at the same time, and the bucket of sour cream was nearly empty and crusty. The dessert options are slim with most sugar free and again tasteless. The baked goods tasted like flour and sugar substitute. We were unable to find one dessert worth eating more than 1 bite. The jello tasted like cherry cough syrup. The soft serve machine appears to need maintenance as the icecream came out in the form of a thick log, was a dark yellow color, far from soft, and had a gritty texture as well as melted almost instantly turning into a thick syrup like soup. The bourbon street chicken and mashed potatoes were decent. If I go back I won't be paying for the buffet I'll just get a plate of mash potatoes and chicken and save myself $25-$30.

Visited Golden Corral Buffet & Grill recently. Ample parking available, but the place could use a thorough clean up. Opted for the buffet as it offered variety not found in our city. Food was mediocre; the steak and fried chicken stood out, along with the fresh salad bar. Dessert selection was good, including cotton candy for kids and soft-serve ice cream. Decent pricing, but likely a one-time visit for us. Service was pleasant.

This Golden Corral is definitely an excellent choice and appears to be a local favorite restaurant. Thomas one of the Hostess was amazing. The staff and employees is friendly and helpful during this visit. Honorable mention Thomas and the waitress Gabriella for there personality is spot on. The buffet is full of amazingly delicious food. There is also a grill option for break, lunch and dinner. Handicap parking is available and easy access too.

I have only visited Golden Corral twice ever, both times here in Panama City, Florida. The food is good, the place is clean, and the service is exceptional. I am always treated to such friendly faces and interactions. I feel very welcomed here.
All employees everywhere need to come to Golden Corral in Panama City to be trained correctly. I love this place so much!
