I stopped by this picnic after breakfast at Luna Muna Cafe. It was a short walk away and I took a quick stroll around this park. The park is very well maintained and has a lot of small placards detailing the history of the area as well as information about several different bird species in the area.
There is a beautiful tree in the center of the park and it was great to look at and read the history on.
You can also walk to the end of the park where there is a small wooden walkway that takes you to an ocean view.

Love this park. You can walk down to the bay. Nice breeze with trees. Beautiful light display at Christmas time.

We went to the Christmas show and everything was decorated up so nice. The fireworks were very pretty from the top.
The only complaint we had was walking around the vendors was not wheel chair friendly.

This park continues to get better and better. It's possible to get to the water and dip ones toes in the Bay. The decking is sound for those who prefer to look at the Bay from a slight height and without getting wet feet. The tree in the middle of the park is magnificent and worth having a photograph. Boards explain about history and wildlife in the area. There is even an old salt kettle...

What a beautiful park to spend the day with the family. My girlfriend and I enjoyed hours of quiet, peaceful sounds of the waves along the beach while overlooking the bay. Awesome hermit crabs are all along the beach there.
