We decided to venture out on the Sea Screamer as a family—24 of us—and we had an absolute blast. Reserving our tickets online was straightforward, and upon arrival, the check-in process was quick and seamless. They had a list ready, and the verification didn’t take long at all. We arrived 30 minutes prior to sail time and waited in a comfortable holding area that featured shaded seating with umbrellas and multiple commercial fans to keep us cool. About 10 minutes before sailing, Captain Garret made an announcement to board, calling groups by their assigned numbers from check-in. As we boarded, a photographer was on hand to capture photos of each group. The seating was open, allowing us to choose spots that worked best for our family. The captain greeted everyone warmly and introduced the crew before we set off on time. Within minutes, we spotted dolphins, and the captain stopped the boat so we could take pictures. The entire boat ride lasted two hours, during which the crew kept us thoroughly entertained. Soft drinks, water, beverages, and snacks were available for purchase, and lively music played in the background. One of the highlights was a fun water fight with a sister boat, which delighted the kids and adults alike. The kids even had a chance to drive the boat, and we captured many memorable photos. They received dolphin tattoos as souvenirs, and the crew pulled up a crab trap from the water. Shane, the bartender and also a captain, gave a fascinating demonstration with the crabs, allowing both kids and adults to hold them for pictures. We saw spider crabs, hermit crabs, and blue crabs, all of which were released back into the water unharmed after the demonstration. The crew’s enthusiasm and energy made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. We had opportunities to dance and have a great time with everyone on board. I would highly recommend the Sea Screamer if you’re in the area and looking for a fun, memorable outing.

We booked a two hour Sunset Dolphin Cruise with Sea Screamer. We really enjoyed the cruise. While they can't promise that you will see dolphins on the cruise, they have about a 99% success rate. And we did see dolphins (and deer a the state park)! We also got to see Panama City Beach and Shell Island. The sunset was not so spectacular, but that happens. It was still the best sunset of our time in the area. The captain and first mate (bartender) made the cruise fun. Snacks and drinks are very reasonably priced (even cheap). The price for the cruise itself was among the most reasonable of the various operators in the area, as well. And we got a fun little (temporary) dolphin tattoo, too! I highly recommend them!

This was so affordable and so much fun! We loved the crew, the time of day - we did 12:15 and it was so nice getting splashed a little and the breeze! We saw several dolphins and then Nick checked his crab trap and showed us a spider crab and blue crab. The music was great, they have a variety of drinks and snacks at an affordable rate and it was very family friendly and grown up friendly! We also had some water fun by having a water gun fight with another boat, so be sure to wear clothes you don’t mind getting wet! Highly recommend!

If you are considering this, just do it! We did the sunset cruise and it was a great time. Our guides were so knowledgeable and fun. We saw a lot of dolphins and amazing sunsets. Definitely will be doing this again when we come back.

Great Experience!!! We went on the Sunset Cruise. The crew were fun, lively and personable. We had ample time for picture taking and just soaking up all beauty of it all. We also had lots of time with the dolphins playing in our wake - that was an awesome experience. We had never seen so many dolphins, much less seen them at play. They were surfing, flipping and jumping. Adults and littles alike. They also hands on time with crabs - we learned the proper way to hold a blue crab and spider crab. They also let a few folks take a hand at steering the boat. Magical experience overall. Highly recommend!!!
