In a world often dominated by the towering behemoths of urban jungles, there exists a haven that captures the essence of an idyllic past. Seaside, Florida, a name that not only describes its location but also its very spirit. Some may know it as the backdrop to the cinematic marvel, 'The Truman Show', and in many ways, it does possess the charm of a movie set brought to life. The architecture whispers tales of a bygone era, and every corner seems meticulously curated to transport its visitors to a time of simplicity and charm. But be forewarned, dear traveler, for its allure is not a well-kept secret. Even during what one might consider the 'off-season', Seaside bustles with activity. I ventured in mid-October, naively expecting tranquility, only to be met with the delightful chaos of its popularity. Parking, I must admit, was a game of patience and perseverance, and the traffic tested my resolve. Yet, even with these minor inconveniences, Seaside captivates. Its magnetic charm, the very reason for its bustling streets, is undeniable. To rate it any less than five stars would be a disservice to its enchanting aura. For in the end, places like Seaside remind us of the beauty that exists when community, history, and nature converge.

Seaside is a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. Rent a bike and enjoy the neighborhoods. Go to the beach and enjoy the pleasant water. There are plenty of paths and trails to explore as well as food and desserts.

This is a fantastic little beach-side town right in the middle of 30A. The downtown shopping plaza has a lot to offer for everyone. There is a small amphitheater where they have live music and sometimes plays. Lots of food trucks for every type of food you could ever want. Several very nice high-end restaurants as well, for a sit down dining experience. Across the street from 30A are more shops, and restaurants too. There are several places to get drinks, and you can walk around and shop or utilize some of the outdoor seating to enjoy a beverage before you eat. The only downside is when it is busy, parking is extremely limited.
