We stopped here for lunch during a bike ride for fish tacos and gumbo. We both thought everything was great! The seating area facing the ocean was so beautiful. Our bartender and server were friendly and responsive. Mr. M said his gumbo was the best one so far on this trip; the fish and shrimp in the tacos was so fresh! The margaritas were well balanced. Yum. We will definitely be back.

Shrimp shack is okay. We stumbled upon the restaurant while strolling through Seaside. We ordered the grouper sandwich and peel and eat shrimps. The food came out relatively quickly, and was just "okay", nothing special (not worth the price in my opinion). The best part of the restaurant was the views of the beach if you sit outside.

The boardwalk bar is a great place to get a drink and a nice snack. We got the peel and eat shrimp which were delicious. Lightly spiced and tender and quite large. There is a good selection of beer, wine and cocktails served by very nice and friendly bartenders.

Back in the day the Shrimp Shack had the best $18 lobster rolls and we were all obsessed with this place! Now they’re $39 and tasted more like crab than lobster (seafood chunks rather than the whole lobster tail). I think the quality has gone downhill while the price has more than doubled. Very bummed because we were once regulars here.
